Hooper will have to travel 2,000 miles (3,218 km) to complete this challenge, which is one of the most difficult in the world.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-29078 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/eco-sistems.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/logo-final_red.jpg\" alt=\"swim the big blue_ecosistems\" width=\"250\" height=\"250\" srcset=\"https:\/\/eco-sistems.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/logo-final_red.jpg 250w, https:\/\/eco-sistems.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/logo-final_red-200x200.jpg 200w, https:\/\/eco-sistems.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/logo-final_red-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/eco-sistems.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/logo-final_red-180x180.jpg 180w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 250px) 100vw, 250px\" \/><strong>Eco-Sistems<\/strong>, which is particularly sensitive to this sort of <strong>charity sports initiatives<\/strong>, is sponsoring the <strong>swimmer<\/strong> on his <strong>journey across the Atlantic Ocean<\/strong>. The company has provided the team with <strong>two Splash-25 watermakers<\/strong>, the lightest and most durable in its line for <strong>boats.<\/strong> These devices will give Ben and his team the <strong>drinking water<\/strong> they need over the four months they expect it will take to reach <strong>Natal<\/strong> (<strong>Brazil<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>In addition to recognition, with this feat Hooper is also seeking to <strong>raising funds<\/strong> for <strong>four children\u2019s charities<\/strong> in his county (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.help4henry.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Help 4 Henry<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maggiescentres.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Maggie\u2019s<\/strong><\/a>, <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sos-childrensvillages.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SOS Children\u2019s Villages<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ccprojects.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>County Community Projects<\/strong><\/a>), which makes this expedition the first charity attempt at the <strong>Guinness world record<\/strong>. If he completes his journey, he will be the first person to swim non-stop across the Atlantic Ocean. During this adventure, Hooper will have to face a slew of challenges including massive waves, poisonous jellyfish, sharks and electrical storms.<\/p>\n<p>Want to follow the challenge with us?
