The 2018 calendar is full of important international boat shows, exhibiting the latest news on boat and nautical accessory launches, as well as second-hand vessels.
In 2018, the nautical fairs kicked off with the London Boat Show 2018, held in January. Visitors got first-hand advice on nautical activities and travels, and a look at the latest boat accessories.
In April, the Singapore Yacht Show 2018, the most important boat show in Asia and the networking space for nautical professionals par excellence, will be held from 12 to 15 April. It is a great opportunity to forge ties with professionals in the nautical sector, learning about the newest topboats accessories launched, as well as being an event known for its luxury and sport boats.
Likewise, one of the most important boat shows in the world and the main nautical event in the southern hemisphere will be held from 2 to 6 August in Australia: the Sydney International Boat Show. This event will be packed with premieres of all sorts of things from the world of boats, as well as offering participants guidance in purchasing nautical accessories and second-hand boats.
Go to a Boat Show before the end of 2018
After the holidays, the boat shows return to Europe with the international boat shows kicking off at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2018, from 11 to 16 September. This event takes place on the French coast, between Le Port Pierre Canto and Le Vieux Port, and will feature the most luxurious sport boats and information booths organised by nautical styles. Visitors can see more than one hundred world premieres of new vessels, second-hand boats and topboats, in the luxury capital of Europe.
Also on the Côte d’Azur, from 26 to 29 September, the Monaco Yacht Show will be held at Port Hercules. The 2018 edition of the event will feature 45 new launches, as this show deserves the recognition it has gained as one of the most prestigious in the world. Every year thousands of visitors come in search of the luxury of the nautical world, which is why an exclusive selection of companies from the boat industry make sure they’re there year after year.
We’ll finish out 2018 at Nautic Paris, from 8 to 16 December, at 1 place de la Porte de Versailles in Paris. This show features nearly one thousand exhibitors from the four main sectors of companies associated with the world of boating: motorboats, sailing, tourism and nautical equipment/accessories. This fair is one of the most important in the world, as it brings together all sectors of the watersports industry, turning the fairgrounds into an indoor port, which sets it apart from the other international boat shows.
The best boat shows in Spain
In Spain, 2018 will also be packed with not-to-be-missed boat shows, starting with the Salón Náutico de Dénia from 27 April to 1 May at the Denia Marina, featuring numerous exhibitors of nautical accessories. This boat show takes advantage of the location’s natural maritime connection with the Balearic Islands to bring together the most distinguished firms in the nautical sector.
Also from 27 April to 1 May, the Balearic Islands will host one of the most important nautical events in Spain: the Palma International Boat Show, which coincides with the Salón Náutico de Dénia this year. This show features exhibitors with a wide offering of second-hand vessels, nautical accessories, sport boats and related elements such as: boating schools, clubs and associations that support sailing and boating activities. Plus, the Palma International Boat Show also features the Boat Show Investment Forum, for start-ups and/or entrepreneurs with companies associated with the maritime sector that are looking for private investors.
In the Canary Islands, Fenáutica Feria Náutica Tenerife will be held on 2 and 3 June. This is the biggest boat show in the archipelago and, in just three years, it has earned its reputation as one of the most important, and popular, events in the sector. It acts as a market, for nautical suppliers and companies, as well as individuals looking for recreational activities and a showcase for new models of topboats and nautical accessories.
